Testing Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20 – s34 MSoG

Today we had been testing the Aggro Shaman tier 1 deck list
which is provided on the TempoStorm website through their
fresh meta snapshot 20 and we came up with a number of
conclusions both me and the viewers of this Hearthstone
Livestream!

So lets start digging in this Aggro Shaman deck Version and
all the strange things we went through today inside the ladder!

Testing Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20
– First Thoughts

Ok Edropians, before we head into the “meat and potatoes” here
let me say first some things regarding this testing and this specific
version the Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20.

As we are all aware by now the Aggro Shaman is a Tier 1 Deck
and this is not an accident as long as it is one of the Current meta
crushers in many ways and it serves pretty well against specific
match ups.

Focusing now on the specific version of Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck
which is provided on TempoStorm Snapshot 20, I won’t hide that
I don’t like it neither agree with their suggestion yet I will be honest
with you providing to you all the conclusions I came up with after
our today’s Hearthstone livestream.

Long story short this specific deck list is slightly disoriented from
the aggro shaman archetype and it includes some “dead meats”
in it like Aya!

So lets move on and dig furthermore but also deeper into this deck list

Testing Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20
– Pre Framing Our Analysis

Ok let’s make sure once more that we are on the same page here before
we continue with our analysis and conclusions about the  Aggro Shaman
Tier 1 Deck which is provided on TempoStorm Snapshot 20.

We have been testing this deck list during early season and we started our
test today from the morning up to the evening (Greece timezone) and our
test took place inside the European’s server ladder starting on rank 14.

Our test started by using the Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck version exactly as
it is provided on TempoStorm Snapshot 20 here and then we also gave a shot
on their teching suggestion in order to tech against what we were facing
during this Hearthstone Livestream but also in order to get the full picture here
and provide a more conclusive opinion.

The last thing you need to keep in your mind that personally I am not a pro
neither I choose to introduce myself as such and I believe that this makes this
test more realistic as long as the greater majority of Hearthstone are not pros
and can see through my today’s test what they can expect out of this deck.

So with that being said here … we can proceed with our analysis!

Testing Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20
– Conclusions about the decklist without any specific teching

As you are able to watch on the stream recording which is attached to this post
we started playing – testing the Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck exactly as it appears
right below and like it appears on the Tempostorm website .

Testing Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20 basic version

Long story short we got destroyed by using that Aggro Shaman Tier 1
Deck version Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20 due to bad RNG of ours but also
due to the fact that we were facing continuously aggro decks.

I found myself unable to deploy the expected aggression and I did also find
myself ending up playing like a mid range deck on my attempt to give myself
the opportunity to reach my opponents face!

So if I want to be fair here I must say that due to the fact that my personal “luck” was
really bad I did end up with some conclusions but I wasn’t able to see how this
version of Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck is performing when you also have “luck”.

What is certain though is that if you want to play with it during early season then
you should better tech against aggro … logical right?

But as you will realize later we have an oxymoron situation taking place later!

So what I can say with confidence about this specific deck list as it appears above
consider Aya as a dead meat in this Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck as long as you
will never find yourself being able to play it!!!

Don’t take my word for it … just watch the Hearthstone livestream recording and
see for yourselves.

So do I suggest this list the way it appears above?

The answer is simple a huge NO!

Why?

Because I was playing an Aggro Shaman and I was never able to be
the aggressor on any game I played with it as I am supposed to be and
the worst thing is that I was also failing against matches I was meant to
dominate by being an Aggro Shaman!

Testing Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20
– Conclusions for using the Tech Suggestions Against Aggro

After we went through enough pain during our Hearthstone Livestream
and as long as it was pretty obvious that it was a necessity to tech against
aggro decks,

I did tech against aggro by removing azure drake and adding one more
Maelstorm Portal.

To my surprise even if we were teching against aggro decks we found
ourselves struggling even more now … but that also brought some really
good conclusions on the surface as long as it was pretty obvious at that
point that the absence of a pure finisher card was missing hard,

that Aya is a dust waste in this deck and that the promise of consistency
on the board and a small come back mechanism was totally absent!

I mean … lets think about that slightly deeper….

Playing a deck like the Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck, exactly as it appears
on TempoStorm Meta Snapshot 20, places you in the position not to be
able to commit on a specific game plan and try to master it down the road
against the current meta decks,

as long as it tries to balance between a pure Aggro Deck and a deck with
some board consistency and that leads you to the point you will lose both
most of the times!

Up to this point we found ourselves stalling in rank instead of going upwards
and that was truthfully frustrating to be honest with you guys, even if ranking
up is the major focus of these case study Hearthstone Livestreams.

Testing Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20
– Conclusions for using the Tech Suggestions Against Control Decks

Before I give up completely on this Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm
Snapshot 20 and as long as we started to go against some mid range and reno
decks I decided to start testing this deck list by using their tech suggestions against
Control decks.

And here is were the Paradox Kicks in by all means!

Up to this point we were running the day with a low win ratio up to 40% and now
we were about to remove our Maelstorm portals and go with 2 Azure drakes instead!

Seriously … what happened after we did swap to the 2 azure drakes version is
insane and I can’t find a way to rationalize it other that saying that …

… “This is HearthStone Man” …!

Without getting any specific value out of the azure drakes with a specific consistency of
being something to be noticed here as the “thing” that altered our current situation …

… the deck started to perform in God Mode!

I mean seriously guys … we did end up finishing the livestream a 20 win 8 loses score
out of this teched Aggro Shaman deck list which is translated into 71% winning ratio!

We manage to spike from rank 15 to 10 in a heartbeat without any serious effort, put
into the equation!

Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20 - Teched against control

Just in order to make sure that you got it right here let me repeat that
as you are able to verify through the Hearthstone Livestream recording
attached to this post …

… it is not that we got a specific value out of the Azure Drakes while also
Aya remained a dead meat on our hand and slow to the point we where
never able to play it …

… but for some reason the deck started to deliver like Crazy to the point we
were nailing down even the matches we were not meant to win!

Seriously guys … this is a HUGE contrast to be ignored here!

Going with the two first versions we found ourselves failing miserably
and suddenly we found ourselves just unable to lose!

Testing Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20
– Bottom Line

Concluding our today’s test guys I must say that I am slightly confused!

Before I say anything else let me say first that all the opinions expressed above
represent my personal perception and that even if I don’t personally agree
sometimes with what TempoStorm is providing through their meta snapshots

or if the reality I am going through is slightly or heavily different than the promise
especially a Top Tier 1 deck is attached with …

… I respect and recognize the value which is provided by TempoStorm to the
HearthStone community and we all should as long as Meta Snapshots are meant
to give you a guideline on which you can start practicing and customizing to meet
your own personal gamestyle and get the most out of any given deck archetype!

If I want to be fair with our today’s test I must mention that even if Aya is as a fact
a waste of dust and you will never find yourself able to play it and even if this
Aggro Shaman Tier 1 Deck Of TempoStorm Snapshot 20 includes no pure finisher
cards it yet includes some serious winning conditions but you need to know
to get them to have value been delivered to your games by them.

Furthermore while we found ourselves failing hard with the first two tested versions,
which is a proof that what I say is not so far from being a point of discussion but also right,

the teched against control decks version with the 2 azure drakes made me wonder
and recap a number of times with it’s performance!!!

Now it is up to you to decide if you will go with it or not after all we said and you are able
watch also through the video above!
